Just bought 2 of these to mess around with, they are currently extremely cheap. Lots of discrete transistor circuitry but note dividing happens in 2 bespoke ICs, YM252 and YM253, so if I have any failures there this could get interesting! The keybed is a rare example of great feeling metal keys, they look well designed and robust, the same as in the CS80 I believe. The whole thing is way too heavy for what it is. Both of my inner lids have failed due to damp and the top veneer either side has cracked, this is asking for some custom solution, maybe an new lid to mount the electronics in and somehow try to reduce the weight of case. Maybe some Rhodes/Wurly leg mounts instead of using the top case as a stand, that is the ugliest thing ever!
